What we do
A34 specializes in helping businesses grow by making bold creative services accessible, easy, and budget-friendly. We’re too small to be pretentious, too energetic to be boring, and too impatient to be slow.

We are different
A34 believes in using great design and smart marketing strategy to help tell your story. It’s about listening, understanding, and then creating something bold and effective.
We strive to be an “un-agency” — which means we want to keep things easy, fun, and straightforward. If we’re going to create some Facebook ads for you, that’s what we’re going to do. Those ads will kick ass, and you’ll be impressed with the results. We’re not going to try to impress you by calling it “using our expertise in digital marketing to develop and implement a multi-faceted social media campaign.” We impress with our results, not our pitch.

Woodland Bank gets a bold new look
Woodland Bank is a community bank in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, with a modern, innovative approach to banking. As they approached their 100th anniversary, they looked to build a new brand that matched their innovative style.
Through Cooks Bay Marketing, Arrow 34 was able to create that bold new look and a successful launch campaign to announce that change.
Only very small changes were made to the wordmark, and the icon changed from a “rough and rustic” tree to three abstract “arrow trees.” (You may have noticed Dana likes a to use arrows.) Grand Rapids is on the Mississippi, where the river was dammed for a paper mill. The bank owners felt the river should be represented in the logo as well, and you can see that the river flows in from the left in one stream, is collected, and flows out as one stream again. Pretty dam good, right?
Our tagline for the very successful launch was “Woodland Bank is different. Just like it’s always been.” And right from the start, we’re using the new Woodland arrows in all sorts of fun ways.

Meet the Team
Dana Croatt
Founder and Creative Director
Dana is an innovative marketer and creative director based in the Twin Cities. And though his name may not suggest it, he is actually a male. He apologizes for the confusion.
Dana founded Arrow 34 because he was tired of seeing businesses either paying an agency too much to overthink straightforward projects, or getting bad marketing from cheap online places. He knew good marketing, at an affordable price, with straightforward communication was possible.
Before A34, Dana’s career focus was publishing, on both the editorial and advertising sides. He has more than 20 years of experience in design and copy writing, and has focused specifically on small business marketing for the last five years.
Dana lives in Maple Grove with his wife and two kids. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, golf, ping pong, coaching youth sports, and reading. He also thoroughly enjoys writing about himself in the third person.
Becca Lemon
Project Manager
Becca is a Creative at heart. She has always been drawn to creative writing, art, music, organization, and the outdoors and is thrilled that her role as Project Manager utilizes her creative side. While she currently writes newsletters and social media posts, her hope is to one day become a published poet.
Outside of Arrow 34, Becca teaches piano and violin at a couple locations around the Twin Cities. She has an affinity for teaching and hopes to share her love of music with each and every student.
Becca is newly married living in Saint Louis Park with her husband and cat. She loves being outdoors and spends much of her time exploring the lakes and trails near her home (when it isn’t 20 below!). Since meeting her husband, she has taken a liking to Minnesota sports and can be found quite often at Timberwolves and Twins games. Let’s go team!
